About Marquita E. Batchelor
Marquita possesses a profound emotional resilience and imparts in others the strength to stand and the strength to grow. She motivates you to excel in every area, awaken your potential, and cultivate your natural gifts and talents.
Single for 45 years, she learned to maximize singleness and experience life to the fullest. She married Michael Batchelor and four years later he had open heart surgery, one year after that he was diagnosed with lymphoma. During his illness she was faced with financial devastation as things around them crumbled completely. Michael died in 2006, just before their fifth wedding anniversary. Through all these seasons, Marquita’s faith in God, her strong family values, the cultivation of true friends, and determination to stand allowed her to access a deep inner strength she didn’t even know she possessed. The process of overcoming trials developed maturity, refined her character, and taught her the value of hope and the comfort of peace in the midst of a storm.
Marquita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Point Park University and a Master’s degree in Professional Leadership concentrating in Training and Development from Carlow University inPittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is currently in pursuit of a doctorate of ministry degree.
